Newspapers

  • Newspapers report on the major events of the day that will be of the most interest to the general public.
  • Almost always, newspapers are published daily.
  • With the exception of editorials, newspaper articles are presented as a stream of facts so as to give the reader as unbiased account of the story as is possible.
  • Newspapers can be considered original sources in history papers if the edition of the newspaper cited is contemporaneous with the events described.
