• Magazines contain more interpretation than do newspapers and are more subject specific, but the overall audience is essentially the same: the general public.
• Mazazines usually have a more frequent publishing cycle than do scholarly journals, such as weekly, or monthly.
• Political and popular science magazines can contain articles that are relatively sophisticated because of the target audience, but they still contain articles that do not represent rigorous scholarship.
